Project:
Mount Sinai South Nassau - Hospital Expansion & Renovations
Scope (FA):
J-Wing Expansion – Multi-Phase Fire Alarm Integration
- Managed fire alarm system implementation across a five-phase hospital wing expansion, requiring independent AHJ submittals and inspections for each construction phase.
- Collaborated with the electrical contractor to re-engineer system submittal, layout, and installation plan based on late-stage phasing requirements.
- Maintained life safety continuity for occupied floors while construction progressed on others, ensuring uninterrupted hospital operations
Scope (ERCES):
Campus-Wide ERRCS Deployment
- Conducted benchmark signal surveys across the entire campus.
- Oversaw the design, submittal preparation, AHJ coordination, frequency license holder administration, and full system deployment.
- Coordinated with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the new ERRCS considering existing facility RF systems, including decommisioning of existing and antiquated infrastructure.
- Directed installation and commissioning of an active, fiber-networked tri-band ERRCS, ensuring system-wide public safety radio coverage.
- Developed a phasing plan for expansions, leveraging a shared fiber topology to streamline integration across new and existing campus structures
Additional Construction & Direct-to-Facility Support Projects
